Web Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Web Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the design, coding and modifying of webpages from layout to function, HTML email coding and managing social media posts and online stats. The Coordinator will act as a liaison with key personnel including marketing, editorial, membership, sales and custom media.

Essential Duties/Daily Responsibilities

  • Facilitate online content for the PHOTO+ network websites; magazines, tradeshows, blogs, services, photo contests and membership, including pdnonline.com, PHOTO+ Membership, photoplusexpo.com, photosource.com, photoserve.com, rangefinderonline.com, wppionline.com, shutterloveonline.com and others.
  • Create, post and edit web content including banners, text, links, graphics, image libraries, video & audio and handle content management systems including Red Dot, Word Press and others
  • Maintain the websites character and performance – ensure links work, monitor content, identify technical problems and improve usability/interactivity and conceive new web products based on existing and emerging technologies and trends
  • Manage HTML coding for all email blasts; photo contests, tradeshows, custom projects, etc.
  • Administer social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ for up to 20 brand pages, and audience targeting and post boosting according to project objectives
  • Identify optimization processes, study web analytics and provide online statistics
  • Support marketing, editorial, membership, sales and custom media departments by managing and solving web content requests/tickets and achieving business initiatives
  • Oversee the design and execution of two mobile apps per year for PhotoPlus and WPPI tradeshows
  • Manage and direct Web Producer who assists in the afore mentioned responsibilities


  • Required: 4 college year degree in Computer Science, Web Design or comparable
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in website management based in HTML, CSS, Javascript and responsive design and social media
  • Proven competency of website management systems and creating great-looking, user friendly websites Candidates must provide samples of their work – a link to an online portfolio and/or links to websites the candidate has worked on with a description of the specific involvement on each site
  • High software aptitude: Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Dream Weaver and In Design
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong project management, writing and reporting skills
  • Effective MS Office experience: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with enterprise systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 5% per year
