Sales Coordinator – IRCE

The Sales Coordinator will work with the Director of Sales and Sales Team to manage and execute a variety of tasks that support the Sales team and exhibition customers in their participation in IRCE (Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition) and related events. This position will be accountable for the success of the exhibitors’ support pre-show and on-site to maximize customer value and experiences at our events.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

  • Process incoming exhibitor booth contracts including placing booths on the online floor plan, sending booth confirmations, notifying Operations, entering information into the exhibitor registration system and forwarding all existing exhibitor-related information (exhibitor kit, etc.) to new exhibitor
  • Provide customer service for exhibitors in relation to their participation in the tradeshow
  • Collect exhibitors’ descriptions, categories and logos for the online floor plan and Official Show Guide
  • Manage the exhibitor discount code program, including assigning codes and tracking results
  • Collect weekly stats for various exhibitor-related items as well as update the exhibitor and attending company lists located on the conference website
  • Assist in the exhibitor registration process including answering questions and ensuring that all exhibiting companies have at least one person registered prior to the event
  • Assist and coordinate onsite support of exhibitor/customer service activities relating to their participation in the events
  • Provide weekly support in preparation of sales reports and analysis to track current progress and historical comparisons
  • Handle administrative duties, including processing contracts and marketing mailings
  • Assist exhibitors, floor managers and show office personnel at event on-site
  • Support team administrative needs and coordinate with Emerald office/facilities management
  • Perform all other duties as assigned per needs of show team

  • Computer savvy with the ability to quickly learn new programs.
  • Ability to travel up to two to three weeks per year for ~5 days to some of our largest events

Education/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related work experience with the proven ability to build relationships required
  • Successful track record in dynamic, high growth sales environments preferred
  • Related experience in events, conferences, or tradeshows would be a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office – particularly in Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system strongly preferred
  • BS/BA degree is required
