The Photo Group serves the educational and business needs of emerging and established professionals in the photographic and imaging industries through exclusive information, programs, services and events, enabling them to succeed in today’s active photo market. Principal properties include PDN (Photo District News), Rangefinder, WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International), PhotoPlus Expo, PhotoServe and ShutterLove among others.

Job Summary/Overview
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities related to trade shows and conferences, photo contests, road shows, membership programs and custom media projects. This includes the development and implementation of marketing plans and monitoring, analyzing and reporting on related activities and results. The Marketing Manager will act as a liaison with key personnel including sales, web, membership and custom media.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
 Drive and manage marketing plans, campaign tasks, logistics and deadlines
 Manage marketing campaigns for trade shows, conferences, photo contests
 Administer registration site collateral, development and testing
 Oversee email contact distribution lists and partner relationships for lead development
 Manage market segmentation, targeting and brand positioning
 Work with Web Group on development of web content and social media
 Build strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues
 Propose new ideas and make recommendations to improve processes and events and identify new market opportunities
 Administrative duties: process invoices and track expenses

Applicant Skills & Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and at least 2 years of related work experience
 Ability to adapt to a fast paced work environment while managing multiple priorities
 Strong project management, writing and reporting skills
 Strong MS Office experience: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
 Experience with enterprise systems
 Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
 Ability to travel overnight up to 10% per year
