Marketing Manager

Emerald Expositions, a leader in the b2b tradeshow industry, is seeking a Marketing Manager on our Digital Dealer team. The Marketing Manager position will work on brands within the Technology portfolio (Digital Dealer and Dealer Magazine).
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy to deliver growth and meet revenue targets that align with Emerald Expositions’ (events and publication) strategic objectives. You will plan and manage the day-to-day execution of multiple marketing initiatives that will include email marketing, PPC/SEM advertising, print advertisements, website content creation, social media, and direct mail.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Increase event profitability by developing a comprehensive B2B marketing plan for Digital Dealer
  • Create and manage PPC/SEM campaigns on Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Manage internal resources and third parties/vendors/speakers for the execution of marketing and sales initiatives
  • Increase email subscriber base, engagement rates and conversions across Digital Dealer’s multiple email channels
  • Develop segmented email marketing campaigns using audience demographics
  • Collaborate with Web Developers and Graphic Designers to produce websites, digital ads, direct mail pieces, magazines, and print advertisements
  • Negotiate the purchase and placement of both print and digital media advertisements
  • Optimize marketing effectiveness by analyzing event surveys/marketing KPIs
  • Ensure all marketing projects/deliverables are on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Proofing and editing all marketing materials to ensure content is free from error
  • Manage the marketing budget and maintain cost tracking
  • Other marketing related projects as assigned

As a qualified candidate, you will have:

  • B.A./B.S. degree (Marketing or Advertising preferred)
  • 5+ years marketing experience (B2B preferred)
  • Proficiency with serving ads on GoogleAds, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Basic experience with HTML to edit/build emails and landing page content
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in: MS Office (strong in Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (particularly in InDesign and Photoshop), WordPress
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
