Title: Application Developer / Administrator
Reports to: Director, IT Development
Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA
Skills: Solid understanding of software technology including web site architecture, design, layout and presentation.
The Application Developer / Administrator (AD) is responsible for on-going support and maintain of all Emeralds’ enterprise applications: Epicor ERP, Epicor HR, CRM and BI application.
The AD will analyze, design, develop, document, and deliver accurate, well-tested modules/interfaces for production applications in a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
•Responsible for all system administration and technical support activities of the company business applications. This includes but not limited to Epicor ERP, Epicor HCM, CRM and BI applications (to be implemented). After hours on-call rotation support is required during business critical period.
•Estimate and implement small customization and/or configuration of enterprise software (Epicor ERP, CRM, BI) as needed.
•Customize or develop new reports using SSRS.
•Frequently interact with management and end-users as required.
•Ensure documents are complete, current, and stored in appropriate location.
•Comply with Emerald’s methodology: enforce policies, standards, including internal/external controls.
•Deliver accurate and timely status updates as determined by their manager.
•Ability to work independently of assigned tasks under minimal supervision.
•Able to effectively work and communicate within the IT Infrastructure team as well as the user community—Vice President to associate level.
•Must be willing to learn Epicor ERP, CRM and BI application
•2+ years in software development.
•2-5 years of experience in analyzing, designing, documenting, and delivering accurate, well-tested modules/interfaces for production applications.
•2+ years using Relational database systems and SQL
•Familiarity with configuring and managing IIS and MS-SQL server is a plus.
•Exposure to Crystal Report or Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) is a plus.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Management is required.
